About Emma Stark

I am a conceptual artist based in Edinburgh Scotland. Currently in my last year of BA (Hons) Photography at Edinburgh Napier University. For my final project I am exploring the subject of menstruation and the taboo nature that still surrounds this topic. Using fabric, flowers and food colouring, we look through several cycles and see the story of each unfold.

I also like to explore portrait work and telling stories through my work. My project Fire and Water is one that I am currently developing to have all elemets incorporated into.
